Wet and wild

Blinds down, curtains drawn, electric blanket on the bed, heating on and preparing to hibernate as Autumn is coming to an very chilly and damp end It's not been the best of weather recently and getting very wintery. No decent walks for a while but working hard at AEP and the gym.   Managed a quick #coffeeoclock at Flava between showers too. At least we could park under cover and stroll round Foodland at Pasadena  Managed a short stroll round Wittunga after AEP last week but steps are very low as had to cut it short as the rain rolled in.  I'm so over Winter already and it doesn't officially start until next week.

Happy Birthday

The weather started badly but we had a nice day celebrating Clive's birthday.  Meandered through clouds and mist from Clarendon to Blewitf Springs. Had a coffee at McLaren Vale Visitors Centre and met Judy and Mick then on to Willunga for lunch. The Old Bush Inn was delightful..... Lovely cosy old building, friendly staff, scrumptious food and exceptionally quick service. It brightened up later on our return journey via Moana and Southport.

Dodging the clouds

Always enjoy a good brunch at Seller Door but they were out of Clive's favourite.... Acia bowl so he had to have pancakes instead. My sweet potato patties with hummus, beetroot slaw and avocado was delicious. Enjoyed a bowl of tomato, vegetables and bean soup at the Pirate Cat. Very tasty with some sourdough toast and Lurpack Autumn is well and truly here so taking advantage of any sunny days to get out. Missed most of the best autumn colours this year because of rain and dull days but at least the coast is spectacular whatever the weather

Always nice to wander round McLaren Vale then down to Moana for a beach walk and home via Port Noarlunga  Still can't beat Brighton for a sunset walk
