Reatreat

Image
This year's Onka retreat at Nunyara was led by Mr Kim (Sebbage) and we had a great  but exhausting time polishing our Fringe show and fun and games too. I was so exhausted on Monday and I then went down with a stinking cold. Spend most of the week sleeping, coughing and sneezing but managed get out to see the Festival Statesman at the Arkaba (masked and Covid tested)

My Facebook account has been blocked and I can't access it at the moment.... 3rd time in 4 months. I thought my bank account had been compromised for a while as Google Wallet wouldn't work.  3 days gone now and still stuck!  Certainly highlights how much time I've been spending online on my phone! I feel lost without Messenger and no ability to communicate with my friends near and far. I must be getting paranoid as even this page looks wrong then I realised I had HTML selected... phew 4 days on and its still happening. Logged out and shut down and it seems to be working .... for now. 5 times now in under 2 weeks.

Had a great evening watching the West Indies play Australia in a T20 day/night match at the Oval  Maxwell played a blinder and we played well against tough opposition. Nearly 450 runs scored in front of a smallish 20,000 crowd. A lot of people missed out on a real treat and lots of new records.

A flotilla of Marilyns

#marilynjettyswim 170% #mydailywalk as we couldn't get parked near Brighton. It's the Jetty Classic day with all age SLC swimming and boats races and the famous 'Marilyn' swim all in a scorching, sunny 36° (it's a bit cooler up the hill) A flotilla of 663 sponsored swimmers raised over $30,000 as they donned white costumes, blond wigs, pearls and heart shaped sunnies. A spectacular and fun event
