Not a happy bunny

Hobart, here we come..... but not quite yet Woke up at 3.45am to discover a message cancelling our flight to Hobart at 06.15. Message sent 2 hours after we had gone to sleep last night. Just enough time to cancel the taxi we ordered without incurring a penalty so we'll use the money saved to buy brunch later as there's no food left in the fridge. Well start again at 2.30pm Unfortunately we can't go to MONA now as it's closed on all our other free days. We had hoped to have a nice evening meal at the wharf tonight before bad weather sets in for the rest of the week but we'll be lucky now if we get to our hotel by 10.00pm tonight. So much for our relaxing Spring break before BHA competition begins Our friend was on the same flight but missed the notification of change as she was travelling to the airport. Originally she was going via Sydney but is now on a flight at 6.00am TOMORROW! 1.5 hour delay in Adelaide. Now in Melbourne and another 2 hour delay. Due to take off

Winter's back at the Port

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was warm and sunny, today it's back to cold blustery conditions with rain on the way again. I'm so over this weather.... I need sun. Even the dolphins are hiding today. The best part of the day was 3 hours later when the sun finally made an appearance but I was having an afternoon nap and missed it.

At last.....Spring

Monday began with aerobics, theraband and a walk along the Sturt River. Soaking up the sunshine at Coromandel Bake Bakery... succumbed to a wicked pina colada vanilla slice

Come back Spring

Days out are few and far between but still varied even though the inclement weather is keeping us indoors a lot more than usual at this time of year. "On this day..." in Facebook shows previous trips to the Beach with the girls and picnics in the Botanical Gardens, walking in the Hills and glorious blue skies along our lovely coastline.  Sadly this year we are still waiting for Spring to arrive though we do get occasional glimpses between heavy showers and grey skies.  This week I stocked on coffee beans at La Crema Reserve Roastery Made a quick trip to Camelot Crafts near Richmond Road/Marion Road. Paper, dies, ink pads, peeloffs and stamps galore Coffee with Karen at her workplace in the Tonsley Innovation Centre (Mitsubishi Assembly Plant) ... and a damp walk round Oaklands Reserve

Long weekend

A time for singing and stagecraft at Allsorts Bootcamp. Lots of learning and laughter and a small group of enjoyed our Saturday night meal at the Highway. It may have been sunny and 24° but by the time I saw the light of day it was cooler and cloudy Tired and a bit stiff from all the standing but popped down to McLaren Vale for a coffee before the rain arrived
