Frozen

Image
My walks have been few and far between recently due to stiff neck, headache and inclement weather but enjoys seeing the new features on the Festival Plaza along the Riverbank on our way to see Frozen. The sets were spectacular and, although this was a family show suitable for children, these big kids enjoyed it too.

Finished on a bit of a 'low'

The OA trials have come to an end with a week wearing the activity watch, final diary notes and a lengthy questionnaire. The result? Very positive as I have virtually no knee pain and can walk further and more often with no after effects. Just a quick evening walk on a rather dull evening. I would have loved to see the Brighton Winter Solstice event but feeling 'blah' The weather has been grey and grim, I have severe earache, headache and a stiff  neck which is keeping me awake at night and very uncomfortable. Got antibiotics from the doc and advised to take pain killers and use a hot wheat bag. Let's hope the next update is a bit more cheerful You can't win 'em all!

Coddiwompling

Image
My favourite new word So today I decided to coddiwomple towards Blackwood and ended up at Wittunga Native Botanical Gardens  Tonight the weather forecast on channel 9 was from here. The gates closed at 4 so they must have come in after hours and after we left. Recognise some of the pictures?    Wonder where I'll coddiwomple tomorrow 🤔

Sea & Vines ... and gin!

Image
Sun's out... so are we. Need my daily ration of vitamin D after all the recent grey wet days. A quick meander through Blewitt Springs and Chapel Hill to the Vale for coffee, live music, a nice G&T and a walk then on to Moana and Noarlunga to increase my daily steps and get some sea air. Nice way to spend the last day of the long weekend (Queen's Birthday)

Pumpkins and paintings

Image
Fabulous day on North Terrace escaping the rain at the Art Gallery viewing the kaleidoscopic 'Spirits of the pumpkins descended into the heavens' and other interesting works of art.  On to the Migration Museum followed by lunch at SA Museum
