Sturt River, Coromandel

The Sturt River Linear Park is a continuous parkland running from Glenelg North to Coromandel Valley.

A shared-use trail has been constructed through Coromandel Valley, in the City of Onkaparinga. Another shared-use trail has been constructed between South Road and Anzac Highway. It’s possible to link the two shared-use trails together by using the trails in Craigburn Farm and Sturt Gorge Recreation Park.

This 2km trail links Frank Smith Park and the historic Institute building at Coromandel Valley, and includes picnic shelters.

It was also a chance for me to drop off more 'worry worms' (RACKs) to cheer people up. I hang them in trees, attach to benches or picnic tables with an encouraging message and poem.

"I am not lost but all alone, if I made you smile please take me home!"
