Open Gardens SA... mosaics






Visited a quirky but very creative mosaic garden in the west of the city at Kensington. So many great ideas and a calm, shady oasis in a busy part of town.



I parked a few streets away so had a decent walk too. The Devonshire Cream Tea was very welcome and a bargain at $5!






So hard to narrow it down to the best 10-12 pictures as I end up taking dozens when I visit somewhere new..... failed again!

    thought of you recently and since I never see you on FB anylonger - I don't see half of my friends, acquaintences - I decided to search you out. Would love to have been with you on this walk! While officially Spring here, it is still chilly but some smalls are budding. Blessings!

Well, it's been full on Footie here with all round five matches being played in Adelaide .... including Norwood and Mount Barker.  The Swans had a larger crowd at the 'neutral' Oval than they do for their home matches at the SCG! Mount Barker welcomed the Brisbane Lions for the first major AFL game in the Adelaide Hills and did us proud. Crows opening the proceedings with a fabulous unexpected win (and the Port scraped home last night). Clive's off to a double header at the Oval today so it's going to be a long day as our Bunnings BBQ was cancelled due to double booking. Time to catch up on some other TV and also do some singing practice. It's been a great event which has really put SA on the map. Winter's back at the Port

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was warm and sunny, today it's back to cold blustery conditions with rain on the way again. I'm so over this weather.... I need sun. Even the dolphins are hiding today. The best part of the day was 3 hours later when the sun finally made an appearance but I was having an afternoon nap and missed it.
