First day of Spring

It may have just been 12° but we couldn't wait to get out in that rare sunshine while it lasted. Explored the Lobethal Nature Park but didn't get very far as it was boggy and slippery. Note to self, next time take boots and walking poles.  Managed to negotiate the stepping stones with Clive's helping hand.

Definately worth going back in drier weather to explore the many well signposted walks. Then it was on to Karkoo Nursery for #coffeeoclock and a quick vegetable shop at Hahndorf

The area still bears the scars from the Cudlee Creek bush fires but is regenerating well

Always a pleasure to stop here for coffee. It has an amazing array of plants, gardening accessories and gifts...  like an Aladdin's cave and not always kind on the purse.
