Losing it at Christmas

I've been following the CSIRO Total wellbeing diet for over three years but I'm in shock this week. A whopping 900g gone! I did well in the first few months then Covid hit and I've been up and down the same few kilos since then.

December has been a month to forget. Cancer and Covid... gee thanks! I haven't done any exercise or our usual walking, my food units have been a bit wayward but at least I've tracked them and increased my water consumption. Even our #coffeeoclocks have dwindled but they'll be back soon I'm sure.

It seems I've discovered some hard truths about being a foodie, the main one being "If you can't taste it, don't bother eating it" I have no desire to indulge in 'naughty Festive treats' or accidentally overeat to avoid waste

I've missed out on loads of social events and good times with friends and have spent hours on my own binging Netflix but, although I'm a bit down, some good has come out of my brush with Covid and my fighting spirit is back even if my tastebuds aren't. No Christmas excesses for me this year!
